Hey, I’m Clarisse !

Curious, full of life and ready for some adventures, I studied languages in the hope of discovering the world. And I did ! At 32, I’ve been living abroad for a while, teaching people my native language and sharing my culture with them online.

When I decided to become an independent teacher, I was faced with the question : who do I want to work with ? Who could benefit the most from my experience and expertise ?

It was so obvious I wondered if it could be this easy. I wanted to teach French to people who are in the same situation as me : in a multilingual, multicultural relationship !

Teaching French to partners of French-speakers is what I will dedicate myself to. Because, contrary to popular belief, one doesn’t learn a language by just living with a native speaker.

I know what I am talking about ! I am on the journey to learn my fiancé’s first language and he certainly won’t get any teaching credit. And it’s normal, he’s my partner, not my teacher.

I can coach you through this journey with the French language, knowing first-hand how it is ; the challenges you will face, how to keep you engaged and motivated, and to help you get a better grasp on the language and the culture of your significant other.
